Portable HF Operation Cromer

Cromer, Norfolk coast right next to the North Sea !

See a map showing the area I usually operate from.

Locator is JO02PW - WAB TG 23

Typical HF Setup Icom 706 Mk2G

Home made HF inverted V antenna, supported by a roach pole at around 9 meters.

Usually operate 80m, inverted V is resonant on the 80m band at around 20 meters per leg (40 meters end to end). The antenna is a little large, and does raise the odd eyebrow when operating portable :-)

I have dotted the antenna line so you can view it in the picture !
