Spirit of Knoxville - Transatlantic Balloon
Posted on:
12th March 2008
This video was taken around 1800 UTC on 12th March 2008, from East London, UK. About an hour and a half before SNOX IV landed ~300 miles from Ireland, after travelling all the way from Knoxville, USA. It was a Record breaking flight! 40 hours, 3300 miles, almost to Ireland! I really enjoyed tracking its progress, and the makers of the balloon done an excellent job (Dan/Carl/Mike/Mark/Greg).
